Will Run for Disney’s 2017 Reflections and Goals for 2018

The end of 2017 is nigh! I can’t believe it’s already that time of year- a time of reflection, gratitude, and bracing oneself for the peak of winter. Instead of “resolutions” I prefer to look at my year’s accomplishments, and goals for the New Year. I was looking at my 2016-2017 goals and accomplishments post and can’t believe how far I’ve come in the past year with my running journey. It’s amazing how one step, one run, one week, one month, adds up to goals I never thought possible.

My Walt Disney World Weekend Getaway – December 2017

Hi friends! I’m back from a speedy weekend at Walt Disney World. How does one do Walt Disney World in one weekend, you ask? Let me show you!

2018 Princess Half Marathon Weekend Medals REVEALED

Disney Parks Blog just unveiled the 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend medals on this #MedalMonday! In celebration of the half marathon’s 10th anniversary, and the “Fairy Tale Challenge” (formerly known as the Glass Slipper Challenge), the medals this year represent the pantheon of Disney Princesses theme unlike ever before- I still believe the “Dream Big, Princess” campaign had a lot to do with the design decision-making! Let’s take a look:

Hi friends! I’m heading to Walt Disney World for the weekend to check out the Christmas decorations, see the Candlelight Processional with Trace Adkins (I’ve met him! Check my Instagram!), and of course, see Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

This means I’m taking the weekend off (!) from running and posting my Sunday training update, but stay tuned for Monday’s runDisney news recap.

Be sure to follow along on my Instagram to see what I’m up to this weekend. Hope you all have magical weekends lined up too! Talk to you again soon.

I’m running the 2018 Chicago Marathon!

Something in me told me to apply for the 2018 Chicago Marathon. I haven’t even completed/attempted my first marathon, and yet I was drawn to the idea that Chicago would be my next big race. I know what you’re thinking right now, “You’re Will Run for Disney! Not Will Run for Chicago!” Well, with Disneyland races on hiatus, and my 2018 plans to consider a coast-to-coast put aside, I wanted to check an Abbott World Major marathon off my list.
