New Balance Running Trails at Walt Disney World

Let’s be honest. As Walt Disney Resort guests, we already log a lot of miles; A solid 5-8 miles depending on the day! But if you’re hoping to get a training run in on your vacation, or stay in shape and run off some of those Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, you have options!

Wherever you choose to stay on property, New Balance sponsored running trails are available to you. Check them all out below:

Hi friends! I’m heading to Walt Disney World for the weekend to check out the Christmas decorations, see the Candlelight Processional with Trace Adkins (I’ve met him! Check my Instagram!), and of course, see Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

This means I’m taking the weekend off (!) from running and posting my Sunday training update, but stay tuned for Monday’s runDisney news recap.

Be sure to follow along on my Instagram to see what I’m up to this weekend. Hope you all have magical weekends lined up too! Talk to you again soon.

Christmas in Walt Disney World

If you’re heading to Walt Disney World to celebrate the holidays, lucky you! If you’re not, you can live vicariously through this post and then save your money for a future trip- there is no better time to visit! Of course the closer you get to Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the crazier things get as far as attendance, but everyone should experience the magic of Christmas at Disney. It helps that the holiday season starts now, so we have plenty of time to celebrate! I’ll go location by location and outline my favorite Christmas must-dos while you’re there.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Comes Alive at Night

I love Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I visited during my first family trip to Walt Disney World in 1999 and it became a staple of our visits. Animal Kingdom piques my curiosity and imagination like no other park on property. I find the exotic nature of the park with its winding pathways, lush greenery, and nods to faraway lands ever enjoyable. Every time I go to leave the park for the day I take one last look at the Tree of Life and say to myself “I’ll see you again soon.”

With my nostalgic love of Animal Kingdom, I am also pleased that Disney Imagineers have worked hard to revamp the park and make it a nighttime destination.
