We haven’t even experienced spring and summer yet, but it’s already time to start thinking about my/your fall trip Walt Disney World! That 180 day planning window is no joke. I really want to get back to the Wine & Dine Half Marathon race weekend, and Tommy really loves the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, so this sounds like the makings of our next vacation! If you’re in the same boat, here’s what you need to know as you plan:

I’m heading to Walt Disney World for the weekend!

Hi friends! I’m heading to Walt Disney World for the weekend to check out the Christmas decorations, see the Candlelight Processional with Trace Adkins (I’ve met him! Check my Instagram!), and of course, see Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

This means I’m taking the weekend off (!) from running and posting my Sunday training update, but stay tuned for Monday’s runDisney news recap.

Be sure to follow along on my Instagram to see what I’m up to this weekend. Hope you all have magical weekends lined up too! Talk to you again soon.

2017 Eat to the Beat Concert Series Lineup Announced!

Who else is already as excited as I am about the 2017 Epcot Food & Wine Festival?!

While I won’t be participating in this year’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend, Tommy and I will be heading to F&W in October to sample small plates and beverages from around the world. We can’t wait! There will be plenty of time to celebrate the 22nd annual Food & Wine Festival this year: 75 days to be exact! The longest celebration to-date, beginning August 31 and running through November 13.

Part of the Food & Wine tradition is knowing the “Eat to the Beat” concert series lineup, the musical acts presented on the America Gardens Stage in The American Adventure pavilion in Epcot. Solo artists and bands from the 70s through the 90s (and now early 00s!) will be part of the fun. Walt Disney World Resort JUST announced the concert lineup here and below:
