Hi everyone! It’s hard to believe 2017 is winding down, but we have so much to look forward to this holiday season, at Disney Parks, and at home with friends and family. Wishing you all a joyous kickoff to the holiday season with Thanksgiving on Thursday! And if you have an upcoming trip to Disney, congratulations! It is sure to be even more magical. As for runDisney news, not much has happened in the past week, as we eagerly anticipate some medal reveals for Princess Half and Dark Side Half, but I think those will come soon! “That’s A Wrap!” – the 2017 runDisney season is officially over. Congratulations to all who participated in the whirlwind back-to-back race weekends at Walt Disney World’s Disney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Presented by MISFIT and the Disneyland Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend this past weekend! Believe it or not, the next race weekend is the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Presented by Cigna, kicking off the 2018 season! GAH! I am so excited. For now, here’s the latest runDisney news:

Hi Friends! I still can’t believe it’s November!! The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is coming to a close and the holidays are right around the corner. Disney Parks are magically transforming from Halloween to Christmas! This is definitely my favorite time of year. Apologies for not posting last week: I was celebrating Halloween in Walt Disney World! Well, my friends, after weeks of speculation, we’ve finally heard from runDisney on the status of the Disneyland races. As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, all runDisney Disneyland races have been canceled beginning 2018 due to the rigorous construction schedule for Star Wars and other significant updates to the California parks. With construction lasting an anticipated 2-3 years, will this mean the races will come back? Or is this truly the end? Can you believe it’s already mid-October? I feel like the good fall weather is just getting started! I can’t wait to head to Walt Disney World in two weeks for all the Halloween and Food & Wine festivities.
