The runDisney 2018 race calendar is off to a great start! Congratulations to all participants of the 25th Anniversary Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and the Castaway Cay Challenge. What an incredible experience to have been a part of, and I hope everyone had an unforgettable time. I’m sad it’s over! But there’s always another Disney trip, and race on the horizon. Disney Parks Blog just unveiled the 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend medals on this #MedalMonday! In celebration of the half marathon’s 10th anniversary, and the “Fairy Tale Challenge” (formerly known as the Glass Slipper Challenge), the medals this year represent the pantheon of Disney Princesses theme unlike ever before- I still believe the “Dream Big, Princess” campaign had a lot to do with the design decision-making! Let’s take a look:
Hi everyone! The biggest news to come out of runDisney this past week was the release of the 2018 WDW Marathon Event Guide, which means we’re one month away! Runners are training hard to get ready for this first race weekend of the 2018 season (myself included!) and after Christmas and New Years we will be READY! We’re still waiting for the release of the 2018 Princess Half medals, but I have a feeling they will be coming out soon…Here’s what you need to know:
