Credit: runDisney

Another year, another decade of runDisney! 2020 brings the promise of new experiences, challenges, and ways to prove to yourself that anything is possible. What better way to ring in the new year than runDisney’s Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. Speaking from personal experience, it is the race of a lifetime. I am so excited for everyone who has been preparing and training for months. It is YOUR time.

In the spirit of preparedness, double check your packing list against mine: the Will Run for Disney official WDW Marathon Weekend Packing list.

Printed out, signed race waiver for an easier Expo experience

Race outfit/s: performance running bottoms, moisture wicking performance top, bra, underwear, non-cotton socks

Disposable poncho, trash bag or old heat sheet for warmth pre-race! OR

Old sweatshirt or sweatpants to wear pre-race; all clothing cast aside along the course will be donated

If it’s cold, hat and gloves were a lifesaver for me for the 2018 race!

If you are bringing a full gear bag to the race: use the clear, plastic drawstring runDisney bag given to you at the Expo. Make sure it is tagged with your name and contact information, and feel free to toss in a dry outfit, shoes, snacks, etc. They will store your bag at the start/finish line gear tent and you will collect your bag post-race.
