It’s that time of year, friends! The days are shorter, colder, sometimes windier and snowier (if you live in the Northeast like me!) You’re registered for an upcoming winter/spring race and still have to get those miles in, so what’s the best way? Running outside! ‘Tis the Season for the “Turkey Trot”!

As excited as I am about the upcoming Christmas season, we can’t forget about Thanksgiving! November is a time of gratitude, reflection, and celebration with no presents and “less pressure!” (Someday when I’m in charge of the Thanksgiving feast I’m sure I’ll laugh at that last statement.)

Hi Friends! I still can’t believe it’s November!! The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is coming to a close and the holidays are right around the corner. Disney Parks are magically transforming from Halloween to Christmas! This is definitely my favorite time of year. Apologies for not posting last week: I was celebrating Halloween in Walt Disney World! WDW Marathon Training Update

Hi friends!

After an incredible Halloween and food-filled trip to Walt Disney World, I’m back in training mode. Last week was crazy busy at work and then I escaped to Disney early Friday morning. I’m embarrassed to say I took a full NINE days off of training! But guess what? I didn’t stress, and I got right back into it when I got home. And everything worked out! The moral of the story is, if you have to take days off whether it be for personal or professional reasons, don’t panic. Just pick up where you left off. Here’s what my week looked like:

Will Run for Disney’s October Trip to Walt Disney World

As I mentioned in my last post, Tommy and I just got back from our Halloween/late October trip to Walt Disney World! Last year after the Wine & Dine Half Marathon we vowed to take a fall trip this year in order to experience Halloween and go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
