Hi friends!
I hope everyone who traveled to Disneyland for the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend returned home safely and had a magical trip. I’d like to try and make it out there next year! To all my Florida friends, let’s hope this hurricane goes away quickly and with minimal damage.

Less than seven weeks until the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend presented by MISFIT!
The Half Marathon, Two-Course Challenge and Kids Races are still available. For tips on how to have the best Wine & Dine race weekend, check out my latest post!
The Half Marathon course for this year starts in the Magic Kingdom parking lot, a change from last year’s start at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The other big change for this year’s race weekend is the Fall Feast 5K, which used to be called “Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5K” and “Mickey’s Holiday 5K.” Here’s hoping for a bigger and better race weekend, filled with food, drinks and festivity! ‘Tis the season after all!

Many runners at the Disneyland Half Marathon chose to ask cast members about the status of the Disneyland Star Wars Half Marathon – The Light Side. Some said the cast members were tallying how many individuals went up to ask! The general consensus from cast members in Disneyland was that there would be “an announcement made soon.” The runDisney website still currently says “UPDATE: Registration for the 2018 Star Wars™ Half Marathon at Disneyland®Resort has been temporarily postponed and will open at a later date. Updated information regarding early and general registration dates to come.”
Registration TBD

Disneyland’s Tinkerbell Half Marathon Weekend shares the same questionable fate as The Light Side Half. Hopefully we will hear something soon, as the runDisney website calendar listing still has Tinkerbell right at the top:

*Please note: if you really want to participate in a race and it is no longer available on runDisney, check your local travel agent as runDisney provides entries to them in an effort to boost their businesses. Bibs will have to come with a ticket and lodging package.
