It’s really starting to feel like fall now. This is my favorite time of year! Warmer clothes, falling leaves, Halloween, and runDisney races! I have some exciting insights to share with you this week. Check out the latest on the next runDisney race weekend, Disney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon – Presented by MISFIT, the latest on the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, and the status of the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon weekend! Just a month away until the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend presented by MISFIT! Check out your race courses below: Fall Feast 5K, Wine & Dine 10K, and the Wine & Dine Half Marathon!

This year’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon is a huge departure from last year. With the construction going on, we missed Disney’s Hollywood Studios last year! I’m happy to say based on this course map, we’re back in business: beginning in the Magic Kingdom parking lots (last year was Disney’s Wide World of Sports!), down Bear Island Rd to Disney’s Animal Kingdom through  Pandora- World of Avatar (!!) and Dinoland, out the parking lots via Osceola Parkway to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, past Tower of Terror, Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard, out the main gate onto the Studios-Epcot Connector, past BoardWalk and Yacht & Beach around Crescent Lake to the International Gateway and around World Showcase, up through Future World and out the gates to the finish! Looks awesome!

The Half Marathon, Two-Course Challenge and Kids Races are still available. For tips on how to have the best Wine & Dine race weekend, check out my latest post!

The Disneyland Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend 10K and 5K are completely sold out. The Half Marathon and Infinity Gauntlet Challenge are still available. As a reminder, this race, and other Disneyland races, have been rescheduled to begin at 5:00AM PT.

One month out from the event, runDisney will post the Digital Event Guide. Check back here for details. Corral placement and race waives will be posted on the website approximately two weeks before race weekend.

For corral placement, proof of time must have been submitted before August 1.

I’m so excited: 14 weeks ’till the 25th Anniversary Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

After the medal reveal, the Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge sold out. Marathon and Kid’s Dashes are the only races still available.

Get your proof of times in by tomorrow! For corral placement, proof of time must be submitted before October 3.

Still no news about the Disneyland Star Wars Half Marathon – The Light Side. runDisney doesn’t even offer training plans on its website for Light Side. Things aren’t looking good. The runDisney website still currently says “UPDATE: Registration for the 2018 Star Wars^™ Half Marathon at Disneyland^®Resort has been temporarily postponed and will open at a later date. Updated information regarding early and general registration dates to come.”

Princesses registered for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend received an email this week from runDisney/Disney Parks to begin considering their travel arrangements. The email had the following header:

In the past, these emails gave princesses a glimpse of the year’s theme. Since the theming is very similar to last year’s Belle theme, it has princesses scratching their heads. Until we know otherwise, it seems as though there will not be a designated princess this year.   Check out my post on this year’s potential Disney Princess Half Marathon Race theme, “Dream Big, Princess”.

Between the upcoming film “The Last Jedi”, a preview of Star Wars Land – Galaxy’s Edge, and future medal reveal, I’m sure the Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side will eventually sell out. The First Order Challenge, Half Marathon, 5K, and Kids Races are still available.

Still no word on Disneyland’s Tinkerbell Half Marathon Weekend. It is still at the top of the runDisney calendar, along with three other races that have come and gone!

The runDisney website still reads “Stay tuned for registration and event information for the 2018 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend.”
