D23 Expo Weekend is HERE!

Well, friends, the weekend is here: the D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center in Californa (right near Disneyland!)

There has been plenty of buildup, and rumors have been swirling for months now. Information will FINALLY be revealed about the future of certain attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort, including the future of Epcot.

I don’t know about you, but I am excited, nervous, and looking forward to tuning in to see what happens!

Happy Independence Day!

Happy Fourth/Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans near and far. Here’s a special message from none other than Sam Eagle (& some other friends!) :

My day will include a morning run, a bike ride with my mom, and some fried seafood and a quick visit to the beach! Oh, and don’t forget: #DisneyParksLIVE will be live streaming the fireworks from Walt Disney World Resort tonight at 8:55PM ET. Details here. I know what I’m doing tonight!

2017 Disney Princess Half-Marathon Race Recap

Hear Ye, Hear Ye: Congratulations to all my fellow princes and princesses who participated in the 2017 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! After months of training and preparation (we signed up in JULY ’16!) it’s hard to believe that this magical weekend is over.

I thought it might be fun to introduce my boyfriend, Tommy, to you all and have him share his perspective on the race weekend. While he is very familiar with the 3AM wakeup call as my official runDisney chEARleader, he celebrated his first ever race, the Enchanted 10K. For anyone thinking about trying a runDisney race, as a first-timer Tommy offers a perspective of which you will be able to relate.
